What this calculator does
Work backwards from your desired margin to a selling price. Start with the full unit cost, including labour and fulfilment where appropriate. Percentage selling fees are charged against the selling price, so they must be included in the denominator rather than simply added to the cost. Taxes are outside this model.
Formula, assumptions and sources
Price = (unit cost + fixed fee) ÷ (1 − margin − percentage fee). Include production, labour and fulfilment in unit cost. Excludes tax.

Frequently asked questions
Why must margin plus percentage fees be below 100%?
Those percentages consume a share of the selling price. At 100% or above, no positive share remains to cover the entered costs.
Is the suggested price guaranteed to sell?
No. The calculation meets your mathematical margin target. Demand, competition and perceived value still affect whether customers will pay it.
